Short win of Auburn

     
 

Auburn gained a very short win over Valparaiso at home as the score was tight during the whole game and Valparaiso fought until the end. Valparaiso showed better consistence in their shooting effort but Auburn, led by terrific Keke Carrier, made a great rebounding performance (18 offensive rebounds) and got more points from the FT line.

No miracle from Florida

     
 

Florida State didn't make any miracle while hosting the NCAA defending champion Connecticut and they were defeated 59-78.
